Lucy Bell

Lucy has quickly risen through the ranks to become a valued and popular member of the team, managing paralegals and new joiners whilst juggling a demanding workload of her own. Lucy has been heavily involved in the acquisition buy-side, having assisted the lead fee-earners on many of the transactions completed by the team since qualification. Her practice is of a standard beyond what is expected at her PQE level. Lucy has recently drafted an investment agreement with sophisticated class rights issues and articles of association to effect a £14m majority stake investment, with the consideration comprising cash, loan notes, and shares.

Lucy also takes on clients with small corporate and commercial matters. She has assisted clients in implementing various employee share schemes, including growth shares with complex hurdle calculations, share option agreements, and drafting shareholder agreements, as well as advising on commercial terms and conditions.
